Each summer, NYC youth receive training as camera person, editors, writers, and reporters, while they collaborate on producing news segments on issues that matter to them. It all happens at MNN Youth Channel. Applications are now being accepted for summer 2011.
The MNN Youth Channel partners with the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development as a worksite for the Summer Youth Employment Program. If you are interested in applying through SYEP, please visit the NYC DYCD site and apply through their online application.
If you are interested in applying individually, please read and complete the application below carefully. Deadline for applications is June 13, 2011 at 5pm. If you are selected, you will be contacted by June 20. No phone calls please.
